We are on the hunt for a Product Development Executive to support the development of new products at Joey Mattress.
This role focuses on sourcing suppliers, coordinating product development, and driving the process from idea to sample. You will work closely with the founder to bring new products to life by researching materials, communicating with suppliers, managing samples, and ensuring development timelines move forward smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and resourceful. The right candidate enjoys solving problems, communicating with suppliers, and turning ideas into real products.

In this role, your responsibilities are
- Supplier Research and Sourcing - Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials and product components. Request quotations, compare options, and explore opportunities to improve quality, cost, and reliability.
- Supplier Communication and Coordination - Act as the main point of contact with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring clear communication of specifications, revisions, and timelines.
- Product Development Coordination - Manage the product development process from concept to sample stage. Track progress, follow up with suppliers, and ensure development milestones are met.
- Sample and Prototype Management - Coordinate sample requests, revisions, and testing. Keep track of changes and ensure feedback is clearly communicated to suppliers.
- Cost and Feasibility Support - Gather costing information, MOQs, lead times, and production constraints to support product decisions.
- Documentation and Organisation - Maintain structured records of product specifications, supplier details, costing, and development timelines.
- Drive Project Momentum - Ensure product development projects continue moving forward by proactively following up with suppliers and resolving issues that may delay progress.
- Problem Solving and Initiative - Take ownership of challenges that arise during development. Identify solutions, propose improvements, and move projects forward without waiting for instructions.
This position requires
- 2–5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, manufacturing coordination, procurement, or a related field.
- Experience communicating with suppliers, factories, or manufacturers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple product development timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with external partners.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and independently move projects forward.

- Develop Social Media Strategy - Devise and implement a comprehensive social media plan that enhances our brand’s digital presence and audience engagement across various platforms.
- Generate Trending Content - Stay on top of trends to create engaging organic social media content that resonates with our audience.
- Platform Management - Handle daily posting and audience engagement on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other related platforms.

We are on the hunt for a Multimedia Designer to support our marketing team. This role will focus on generating eye-catching and brand-aligned designs for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, packaging, and our website.
In this role, your responsibilities are
- Craft Unique Designs - Create high-quality designs that align with our brand and amplify our marketing messages.
- Collaborate - Work closely with the Art Director and marketing team to discuss themes, colour schemes, and the overall look and feel of projects.
